30/366 - "Heart"

(F/2, 50mm, 1/80 sec, ISO 200, Canon 7D)

I have seen this done many times, typically as a wedding photograph.  I thought I would try and set it up in honor of our 8th wedding anniversary that is tomorrow.  I would have done this photograph tomorrow, but we have plans and I will not have time to mess around with this stuff.  I think it turned out pretty well, and hindsight being 20/20 I would have chosen the middle of the Bible rather than Corinthians 13 ("Love is patient...").  Corinthians is towards the end of the Bible and the heart came out a little lopsided.

I applied a square crop, a black and white preset, and a vignette preset.  I tried to sharpen the engraving that Sue put in my ring which simply reads "Loving 1.31.04".

Happy Anniversary Sue
