So several months ago I was to take part in a home brew with some guys from work. They even let me pick out the kit, and I picked out a "Black IPA". Well, when it was time to actually brew this batch I had to be in Dallas for a conference. The guys were nice enough to let me help in the bottling process in December. I have been waiting patiently to open and try one and tonight was the night. I will have to say that it is quite nice and will only get better the longer I let them age, which will be tough. Even though that I was warned that it might be lacking carbonation and I could return them to Jim for a quick fix, I think that it is fine.
A photograph everyday for a year, and this year you get a bonus photo on 2.29. Enjoy!

Mmmm. I'm glad it was carbonated for you! btw, I named it Dark Passenger because around the time it was brewed I was catching up on the latest season of Dexter. Nice product shot.
ReplyDeleteI like the name and that reminds me I need to start watching Dexter. Yes, the product shots should get better as I learn about lighting and editing.
