354/366 - "Smoke"

One of the photos I had planned on doing months ago but forgot was a photograph of smoke.  I remembered about my plans after seeing a photo of birthday candle that had just be blown out.  I always love these shots for the random things you might see in them.

Yesterday we took a walk and collect buckeyes and acorns.  Since today is macro Monday, I decided to grab one of the acorns and give it the macro touch.

I started taking a camera to work occasionally and this morning was one of those days.  At a stop light in Oakmont I was able to capture my rainy day commute.

I was outside today and decided to get low and take some shots of these daisies from a bugs view.

This particular Saturday was  a brew day at the Callender Estate.  While we were waiting for the water to boil, I snuck out to the Hop Garden and snapped a few shots.

After we got back from the Big Pour this afternoon, we decided to go outside and play.  Sue decided to work in the garden and picked many tomatos.  Looks like we will have one more harvest of the cherry tomatos.

As the summer comes to an end so does our garden.  Sue pulled out the cucumbers last weekend and I think the beans are soon to follow.

Looks like it is salsa time.  I love the fresh salsa that Sue makes and it looks like our tomatos are ready.

After dinner we decided to head outside for a popsicle to cool down a bit.  Luckily Harper lets me take her picture.

The grass is growing on the street by our house making it appear very green as you look down the road.

I am hoping tomorrow is a half decent day because these dandelions are getting out of control and I need to cut the grass.

61/366 - "Urban Decay"

I have been searching for a vacant or rundown building to photograph.  This particular location is about a block from our house.  There are "No Trespassing" signs all over the place and I have been told by a couple locals that the guy that owns the property and would probably shoot me if I went inside.  So I will have to settle on some exterior shots for now, and this one makes me want to go inside even more.

If anyone knows of any locations that I could get into that are in the Pittsburgh area let me know.
