(F/6.3, 100mm, 1/15 sec, ISO 100, Canon 5D Mk II)
I was outside after dinner taking some macro flower photos for #macromonday, when this "Giant" wasp buzzed by me and landed in this bush next to the flowers I was shooting. After I regained my composure, I refocused my camera and my energy to capture this beast. Since I am using a 1:1 ratio macro lens you are seeing this as actual size. Trust me when I say it was huge compared to your garden variety wasp. I looked this wasp up in my bug book, and it appears to be some sort of spider-hunting wasp.
